meet keith thompson
Keith Thompson lives and works in Spain (where he finished his professional football career) and is currently running a sports and travel company in Oviedo.
Nevertheless after talking to older brother (and Association Member) Garry Thompson about the benefits of membership Keith is keen to come back to renew acquaintances with former colleagues and CCFC fans as soon as possible.
An England youth cap, Keith will be remembered for two spells with the Sky Blues, from 1980-5 and 1988-1991. He initially joined City as an apprentice turning professional early in 1983.
After 15 senior appearances on the left midfield/wing and loan spells with Wimbledon and Northampton he moved to Real Oviedo in Spain in September 1985 before returning in September 1988 where he made another 15 appearances scoring 1 goal.
He went on to spend two years with Ernest Borrel FC in Hong Kong before finishing his playing career with CD Toledo in Spain and continuing as a coach mainly at junior level.
